Chinese Love Horoscopes - Love in the Year of the Metal Tiger

Seeing as the Year of the Metal Tiger began on Valentine’s Day, thoughts will naturally have turned to love! So what influence can this passionate sign have on all of us this year?

The Metal Tiger is a great sign for romance. It represents determination - and for love this means an unstoppable charm offensive. It is a year for knowing exactly what you want and going all out to get it. Don’t let others influence you and tell you what’s good for you. Let your heart lead the way.

So how can this year affect your sign?
For those born under the Tiger, Horse or Dog you are going to find yourself the most open to these powerful energies. Love is going to be central to your life over the next year and you’ll be brimming with confidence. If you’ve had your heart set on someone for a while now, you’ll start to see some exciting changes come about with all the extra effort you’ll be putting in.

For those born in the years of the Rabbit, Dragon or the Boar you will also be greatly affected by the Year of the Metal Tiger. You may need to work a little harder than those mentioned above but these energies will be around you. Reach out and you will start to make progress.

As for the Rat, Ox, Snake, Sheep and Rooster? Don’t despair! You are not being left out of the fun, but may find yourselves on the outskirts of it. Love can come to you but you are likely to find the energies a little more changeable than for the other signs.

The Tiger’s opposite is the Monkey and this is the sign that will suffer the most this year. The Monkey’s usual tricks are just not going to be as successful as they normally are. This may cause confusion at first, but the adaptable and quick-thinking Monkey will no doubt have found a solution before the year is out!

Chinese Love Horoscope For The Year of the Boar

Those born in the year of the Boar: 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007

The Boar is simple in his or her outlook. As long as their behaviour is decent, kind and honourable then they will feel happy and proud. This is just about the nicest of all the signs and they are likeable, sturdy characters who get on well with others. But don’t be fooled, there is nothing weak about the Boar and they will exhibit great courage and loyalty when needed. A cool head in a crisis, this is someone others will always turn to. However, for this reason the Boar will always be at risk of being taken for granted! But whatever life throws at them, the resilient Boar will come through unscathed.

So who will win the faithful heart of the good natured Boar?

Boar with Boar = MODERATE
Despite their kindness and good will to others, two Boars seem to bring out the worst in each other. The Boar can at times be a little thick skinned and so will simply not be able to take on board the constructive criticisms of the other in order to bring about change and harmony.

Boar with Rat = GOOD!
Both the Boar and the Rat are very loyal characters and this will be appreciated and valued. The Rat is also cunning and doesn’t miss a trick so will be able to protect the slightly gullible Boar from getting hurt by those with less scruples and kindliness.

Boar with Ox = MODERATE
These two do not really click and so it is unlikely that they will be drawn to one another in the first place. But when they are, there is a the potential for some minor power struggles. They are both decent by nature but also strong so they may stick stubbornly to their point of view.

Boar with Tiger = GOOD!
The Tiger adores attention and who better to offer it than the unreservedly expressive Boar! But this is a much more equal relationship than it may at first appear however. The calm and down to earth Boar will back the Tiger to the hilt and be as responsible for his or success as all other factors.

Boar with Rabbit = EXCELLENT!
This is a match made in heaven. They are both so giving and understanding that it’s impossible to imagine that love WOULDN’T blossom between this couple. While they are both strong, it’s the Rabbit’s cunning that will add that something extra to the Boar’s life.

Boar with Dragon = GOOD!
This is a great combination as they share so many fundamental beliefs on how people should behave. They are both loyal, honest and hard working and so should fit into each other’s life with hardly any need for adjustment.

Boar with Snake = BAD
The Boar will not get on with the Snake, finding his or her nature far too secretive to be comfortable around. And while the Snake is actually someone who values honesty, it is difficult for these two to read each other well and so misunderstandings are likely to arise instead.

Boar with Horse = MODERATE
While the Horse and the Boar can exist perfectly happily enough side by side, they are do not tend to see anything special in one another either. They are likely to come across one another in a social capacity and this is where they will have the most in common.

Boar with Sheep = EXCELLENT!
Both the Sheep and the Boar like to be led by the heart rather than the head and so there will be a lot of chemistry when these two set eyes upon one another! Kind and giving, they will excel in the role of partner and lover, giving their all to their mate.

Boar with Monkey = GOOD!
Fortunately, the Boar isn’t too sensitive and unlike many other signs, isn’t angered by the Monkey’s constant need to play tricks and mind games. In fact ,the Boar can look at this with fondness as long as there is mutual respect ultimately. The Monkey can certainly make use of the Boar’s loyalty and staying power.

Boar with Rooster = GOOD!
The Boar can endure criticism well, which is just as well as the Rooster cannot stop his or herself! So it would take someone as even tempered as the Boar to make this relationship work. They are both dignified people though and will endeavour to make this an honest and open partnership.

Boar with Dog = MODERATE
The Boar is a bit too fond of luxury and having a good time to really click with the Dog but otherwise there are no major clashes here. They both like to be liked and so will put the effort in with one another. It just may be difficult to find enough in common to make this a long term thing.
