Chinese Love Horoscope For The Year Of The Monkey

Those born in the year of the Monkey: 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004

The Monkey is a complex character who outwits, charms and persuades people in order to get by in life! Cunning and highly intelligent, life is not a struggle for this cheerful type. They will survive all hardships with total faith in themselves and by winning everyone over. Their success is likely to come from taking risks and if they are dangerously close to failing, they’ll simply use their gift of the gab and buy themselves more time. They are flirtatious and fun to be with but can be fickle in love.

So who can ever be enough fun for the mischievous monkey?

Monkey with Monkey = GOOD!
Two Monkeys together will take great pleasure in pulling the wool over the eyes of their opponents and will bask in their sense of superiority. As long as they can learn to respect the contribution of their partner and not just focus on themselves, this will be a great relationship.

Monkey with Rat = EXCELLENT!
These two will have a single purpose in life - money! The rat is materialistic and the monkey loves to feel superior to others. The combination will mean a joint ambition and they will revel in their progress as they build a comfortable lifestyle.

Monkey with Ox = GOOD!
This is a relationship that will be slow to build. The quick-thinking Monkey may underestimate the value of the stoical and hard working Ox. But the Ox can offer stability to the Monkey and give him or her the freedom to use their talent and flair in many more areas than just work.

Monkey with Tiger = BAD
The Tiger is driven and ambitious. The Monkey wants to be at the top of the pile in life. Yet these two will never be able to agree on how to achieve this and will clash at every decision. They are both just too fond of the centre stage to be able to like one another.

Monkey with Rabbit = MODERATE
Wary and distrustful in nature, while both of these signs like to charm people they are also unlikely to make any headway with each other. The Monkey is sharp and quick and the Rabbit will be nervous and on his or her guard.

Monkey with Dragon = EXCELLENT!
The Dragon will impress the Monkey with their charismatic ways and the Dragon is always on the look out for a clever accomplice. These two won’t waste their time procrastinating, they’ll throw themselves into a relationship with gusto!

Monkey with Snake = MODERATE
The Monkey is a bubbly, exuberant character who can also be a little self obsessed. He or she will not appreciate the feeling of being watched and judged by the Snake however, it will create an atmosphere of distrust. They both tend to rely on their wits however so there is potential for common ground.

Monkey with Horse = MODERATE
The Monkey and the Horse are active and lively and like to see a job well done. However, they will not click in any other way and so should their paths cross at work, they may find that if they start to socialise outside of this arena they have little to say to one another.

Monkey with Sheep = MODERATE
While the Monkey is full of him or herself, the Sheep likes to follow the lead of others. They won’t mind one another’s company but there is unlikely to be any spark between them. There is a danger that the Monkey will be able to run rings around the Sheep and will get bored.

Monkey with Rooster = MODERATE
While the Monkey is a hard worker, freedom is also valued. The Rooster is too keen on control and giving out instructions for the Monkey’s liking! The Rooster will feel a little put out by the Monkey’s strong, independent streak. However, if they stick it out, they will see how much they can achieve with their combined efforts.

Monkey with Dog = GOOD!
The Monkey and the Dog are both energetic and like to be busy so they will often find they come together initially over a task - possibly one that work colleagues have left to them to complete! The Dog is no push over and will be able to keep the Monkey’s cheeky side in check. The Monkey will respect the staying power of the determined Dog.

Monkey with Boar = GOOD!
The Monkey, while happy to operate alone, is not one to turn down such enthusiastic support as the Boar can offer. They will influence each other to be their best and are often a very affluent couple due to this mutual support and respect. They will make each other feel good about their abilities and be very forgiving of weaknesses.
