Chinese Love Horoscope For The Year of the Dragon

Those born in the Year of the Dragon: 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000

The Dragon is an impressive creature! Proud and a natural born leader, this is someone who will always stand out in a crowd - largely because they are handing out the instructions. It is not always easy to get on with the Dragon due to them being fiercely competitive and strong willed but their true colours always come out in the end. As much as they are driven by their own needs, they will also fight for others. The Dragon is as compassionate as he or she is self-important. They are also infectious in their optimism and their buoyant attitudes to work, love and life.

So who can stand up to the Dragon and ignite the flame within?

Dragon with Dragon = MODERATE
Considering the intensity of this sign, it may be surprising that they are not more compatible but this pairing only usually comes about when they are passionate about a shared interest. Otherwise they tend to avoid each other viewing one another as competition rather than a potential mate.

Dragon with Rat = EXCELLENT!
These two won’t hold back. They are both lovers of action and will want to get their relationship going as soon as possible! They are energetic and where others may run out of steam or like to put their feet up once in a while, they’ll be constantly looking for ways to burn off restless energy.

Dragon with Ox = MODERATE
While the Dragon and the Ox are very determined and like to finish what they start, they both like to be in charge. They will struggle to compromise, this being something they would both consider to show weakness. Unless they have very clear guidelines set down, which would require the intervention of a third party, they are not likely to last.

Dragon with Tiger = MODERATE
With their attention seeking ways, these two will have most of their battles in public. Neither will want to lose face and arguments over nothing will be common place. With a common cause, they can channel their energies and determination into combined success but they should tread carefully.

Dragon with Rabbit = GOOD!
Where the Dragon is attention-seeking, the Rabbit is beguiling. They will be drawn to each other rather clashing and can often have similar outlooks in life. The Rabbit can do wonders for the Dragon, knocking the rough edges off. The Dragon can use the keen eye of the Rabbit and help him or her use it to full effect.

Dragon with Snake = GOOD!
The snake is a self-contained character and will have no need of their share of the limelight. A fact that pleases the Dragon no end! But they both have one very strong trait in common - fiery determination. With the different skills they bring, they can often find themselves almost lost if the other isn’t around, such is the mutually compatible nature of this pairing.

Dragon with Horse = GOOD!
The Dragon has a tendency to persevere to the bitter end and hates the thought if giving in or defeat. The Horse however, is changeable with good instincts for a situation that isn’t bringing rewards and will redirect the Dragon’s talents to something more worthwhile. The Dragon always likes to think he or she is on control but in this relationship, it is not so clear!

Dragon with Sheep = MODERATE
The Dragon is often a high achiever in life and the material rewards of their efforts will often attract the luxury loving Sheep. There is little respect between these two however, unless the Sheep’s creative flair can contribute to the Dragon’s success.

Dragon with Monkey = EXCELLENT!
Both the Dragon and the Monkey are innovators, teaming with ideas and enthusiastic in seeing them through. This is a pairing that will begin with red hot chemistry and will only get better from there on. The Monkey’s problem solving abilities will clear the way forward for the Dragon who is determined to be the best.

Dragon with Rooster = GOOD!
Both the Dragon and the Rooster can be very critical. As long as this is not turned on each other they can have a wonderfully close ‘you and me against the world’ type relationship, revelling in their superiority! But then, they are undeniably a wise and formidable pair.

Dragon with Dog = BAD
The Dog will not warm to the Dragon, feeling that their extroverted nature smacks of selfishness. Likewise, the Dragon will feel judged and under pressure in the presence of the Dog and will view him or her as being a spanner in the works of their grand plans.

Dragon with Boar = GOOD!
The Dragon has a fiery temper and can often benefit from having a partner who will make them see reason and calm down. The Boar is perfect for this - trustworthy and diplomatic, the Dragon will recognise a valuable ally. This can be a very committed relationship
